The Howrse SOS Karma feature is now working. The higher the Karma the more trustworthy. The lower the Karma the less trustworthy. Any member with a negative Karma is considered untrustworthy by the Howrse SOS Administration Team! Karma can be gained by being helpful and lost by being unhelpful/mean/a troll!

What is BLUP?

BLUP can be seen at riding level 4. It stands for Best Linear Unbiased Prediction. Your horse/ponies BLUP can be between -100 and 100. To get 100 BLUP your horse must have: 1. Be at least 10 years old 2. Got the same value in a skill as it has in it's highest skills in the genetics box, when this happens the skill goes bold. (For example if a horse had GP 50 in galloping then the horse would have to have a galloping skill of 50) 3.Have won at least 20 competitions

GP stands for genetic potential. GP is the maximum skills a horse can reach. The GP of your horse/pony can be found in the Genetics box on your horse/pony page. The level of GP is determined by the average GP of the parents. Therefore you can work out the GP of your horse/pony by adding the GP of the mother and father together and dividing them by two.
